The Reading Target class is part of the TeamUP Novel Study Program, an English program launched in the spring of 2020 to provide students with learning opportunities during the pandemic. With lessons taught by certified teacher, this class allows students to indulge in the world of English literature. Facilitated through ZOOM, this 3-month program consists of various sessions that take place from mid-May to late August with individual classes suited for students from grades 1 through 5. Taught with carefully selected class material and the award-winning novels such as “Inside Out and Back Again” by Thanhha Lai and "Peter Pan", this class focuses on building a basic knowledge of the novel and digging the deeper message that the author tries to convey through a series of in-class activities and projects.
