‍‍Jessie Liu will be attending the University of British Columbia in fall 2020 as a member of the class of 2024. Originally from Shanghai, China, Jessie moved to Canada along with her family at the age of 11. After living in Canada for 6 years, she understands the struggle of learning a new language and is eager to help those in need to become a better, more confident and more fluent English speaker. Currently, she teaches a Vocabulary class as part of the TeamUP summer English program and a private tutoring class for grade 5 students.‍
